A week after Minister of Tourism Richard Sealy boasted about the additional flights and an excess of over 2000 tickets being sold overseas, Live Nation Global Touring the promoters of Rihanna Diamonds World Tour announced the postonement of the Barbados leg of the tour due to the technical difficulties associated with the transport of equipment.
The Rihanna Diamonds World Tour originally scheduled for next Friday, November 1st at Kensington Oval.
The rescheduled date is unavailable but a statement from Premier Events Services who was responsible for local tickets sales said that ticket purchased for the November 1st event will be valid for the rescheduled performance next year.
Hoteliers, airlines, box offices and other businesses are now in a tailspin as people who had already purchased tickets to fly to Barbados, booked hotel rooms and paid for tickets tried to figure out how they could recover their monies.
