Essequibo : The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Kumar Plummer, 53 years of Line Path, Skeldon, whose body was found yesterday at Armu Backdam, Cuyuni.
A police report stated that Kumar Plummer was employed as a watchman for some mining equipment by a miner and his body was found on the site with his feet and hands tied with polythene rope. A piece of rope was also seen around his neck.
The body is at the Bartica Hospital mortuary awaiting a post mortem examination
