Georgetown: Regional Executive Officers (REOs) for regions one, two, three, five, six, nine and ten on Tuesday received their termination letters from the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development.
This was confirmed by Minister of Local Government and Regional Development, Nigel Dharamlall.
In chronological order the REOs were identified as Randolph Storm, Denis Jaikarran, Faye Mc Dougal, Ovid Morrison, Kim Stephen-Williams, Carl Parker and Orrin Gordon.
Minister Dharamlall in an invited comment state: “The Ministry lost confidence in their ability to perform. Their deportment was inimical to the effective and efficient functioning of the regions they managed. Moreover, they practised heavy partisan politics…they were void of professionalism and impartiality,”
