Berbice : The body of seven year old of Saheed Makatnauth of No. 68 Village Squatting Area, Corentyne, was found in an open field at No. 68 Village today minutes after 2:00pm.
He had been reported as missing to the police yesterday.
According to a doctor’s report, the lad suffered a fractured skull and chin and a broken right hand.
The police have since detained one person as their investigation continued.
