Sex deal goes sour – three arrested

St. Thomas: Two female teenagers held a man at knife point after a deal, for sex in exchange for money, went sour.

18-year-old, Wahkesha Rawlins, and another 17-year-old female minor, solicited sex for payment from 44-year-old, Ricky P. Ragbersingh. The females engaged in sexual acts with Ragbersingh, and he refused to pay afterwards. The females then held him at knife point and took him to an automatic teller machine to withdraw money against his will, according to a report on the BVInews.com.

Ragbersingh reported the kidnapping incident to the police and further investigation into the incident led police to charge Ragbersingh with Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.

When the females were arrested they had a kitchen knife in their possession. They were both held on $10,000 bail each. Ragbersingh was held on a $1,000 bail. The adult suspects were held in custody pending their advice of rights hearing.

The female minor was held on a $10,000 bail and released to the custody of her parents pending her appearance in Juvenile Court.
