Several St Michael families have expressed concerns over the safety of their children.
A convicted sexual predator was intercepted last week last week at a St. Michael primary school trying to lure a five year old child into a toilet.
This followed an incident two weeks ago, when he allegedly attacked a female near her home.
The predator who is believed to be HIV/AIDS postive was apprehended last year on an allegation that he lured a teenage girl into his home and raped her.
Residents in the Bank Hall, Waterford, Bush Hall and Kensington Lodge areas, told Trakker News that the man has also been associated with attacks on young males.
"He has been doing this nastiness for years from the time he was a boy.He should be put away for good, not walking about troubling children", one woman said, while declining to give her name.
A senior police official told Trakker News that increased vigilance was being paid to the areas where residents had been making reports.
"Any allegation will be fully investigated and where there is evidence to bring charges against anyone, we will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law", he said.
