Bridgetown.
The cost of flights disruptions during the past two weeks by the low cost carrier Redjet was no cost to the airline.
According to chairman of the company Ian Burns, the cost was absorbed by the shareholders,
"Obviously it is not an insignificant amount of money. All i can tell is the shareholders have put into the company the equivalent amount of money to cover the cost", Burns told Trakker News.
A total of 953 passengers in Barbados, Guyana and Trinidad were affected by cancellations and delays after Redjet had to pull its lone plane available for service out of operation because of hydraulic problems.
