Georgetown : 56 year old Rabindranauth Goorsammy of B’ Field Sophia, Georgetown, succumbed at a private city hospital after being treated for injuries sustained in a road accident.
Rabindranauth Goorsammy was standing on the roadway at Barr Street, Kitty, when he was struck down by the driver of motor van GKK 6698 yesterday.
Goorsammy received injuries about the body and was taken to a private hospital where he was receiving medical treatment. He died a few hours later.
The driver of the motor vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
