Tropical Storm Maria, is expected to pass north of Barbados this afternoon, officials from the Government Met Office says while they do not expect any significant impact from the system, Barbadians should not let their guard down.
According to meteorologist David Best, it was unlikely that that Maria would cause the mayhem that Tropical Storm Tomas created a year ago when dozen of roof tops were ripped off. He made it clear that Barbadians should not let their guard down.
