SVG PM Ralph Gonsalves visit Manning at hospital

San Fernando: St Vincent and the Grenadines Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves became emotional after visiting former Prime Minister and his close friend Patrick Manning at the San Fernando General Hospital today.

The former prime minister suffered a mild stroke on Monday night and has been at the hospital, where doctors say he has been progressively showing remarkable signs of recovery.

The prime minister of St Vincent and the Grenadines arrived in the country this morning and arrived at the San Fernando General Hospital where he met with his friend Mr Manning.

After spending some two hours with the former prime minister Dr Gonsalves cried while speaking to reporters after, saying he had to make it his duty to see his friend, during his hour of need since they shared a very good relationship for many years.

Dr Gonsalves did not disclose his discussion with the former prime minister.
