Two of the most anticipated events on the Crop Over callender were held over the weekend, Pan in the City and Pan Pun De Sand.
Independence Square in the City of Bridgetown, was transformed into a pan yard for Pan in De City which began just after 7 on Saturday night.
Thousand of Barbadians and visitors danced to the scintilating music provided by Banks Soundtech Steel Orchestra,Mosaic Steel Orchestra, RS Pan Tronics and ZigE Walcott and Friends.
Steel pan took over Bridgetown as people chip and swayed and formed a conga line, the main act of the night was ZigE and Friends who performed on a brage and was the backing orchestra for calypsonian Mr Dale who performed a number of his soca songs.
Despite heavy rains and a power blackout yesterday, thousand gathered were at Brandon Beach for the biggest beach party in the Eastern Caribbean for Pan Pun De Sand.
They party to music from Eastland, Pan Extreme, Reddy Panners, Olakunde, Mosaic, Tropical, Exodus out of Trinidad and surprise guest Black Stalin.
