Georgetown: The police through coordinated tactical maneuvers and swift response led to the arrest of several bandits after they robbed Guyana Stockfeeds of over 10 million dollars just after noon yesterday. The police ventured into the Grove/Diamond area where the men fled in two vehicles. At about three separate locations police found money and suspects. From all indication it appears that the heavily armed gang did not realize that the police were hot on their tracks. A large quantity of the booty is said to be in the possession of the mastermind who made good his escape. Police are however confident that with his associates in custody, it would not be too long before he is caught. The heavily armed gang invaded the East Bank business and held up employees in broad daylight. They were also robbed of their personal belongings. A beretta and a 12 gauge shot gun were among the weapons used in the heist.
