Ricardo Jamal Stephenson, 19, of Denny Road Thorpes, St James was remanded to HMP Dodds this morning when he appeared in the Holetown Magistrate Court in connection with the death of Christopher Nedd on Monday.
Stephenson was charged with serious bodily harm but the charge could be upgraded pending the results of an autopsy which will be performed tomorrow.
Nedd died from stab wounds to the upper body at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after a dispute with Stephenson on Monday night.
Stephenson will reappeared in court on November 22nd.
