Georgetown: Guyana continue to be under the radar with more Guyanese being caught up in cocaine possession in the North and the Caribbean. The latest drug bust was in Barbados 3 days ago when five men including three Guyanese were arrested after the Drug squad found over 42 kilos of cocaine hidden at a residence in Sunset Crest St.James. Today the three Guyanese along with the locals will face jail time for cocaine possession, trafficking and intent to supply. The Guyanese charged are Andrew McHennon, 30, of Georgetown; Surain Persad, 44, of West Bank Demerara; and Davanand Outar, 34, of East Bank Essequibo. The Barbados authorities have been in contact with local drug enforcement agencies on the situation. The cocaine carries an estimated value of US$13 million.
