Port-of-Spain: Three seperate shootings within 15 hours have left three dead and four hospitalised.
In the first killing, two men identified only as Redo and Chiney were reportedly at a shack near Prince and Duncan Streets with a group of other men when a car pulled up and the occupants opened fire killing Redo, the security for a nearby harware and Chiney, a known visitor to the area.
In the melee Nicome and Kayan Mommamed were shot and wounded. They both remain hospitalsied.
Also, at around 6.30 am residents of Boxhill Trace, Pelican Extension responded to the sound of gunshots and found the body of Ian Nathan alias Dangles of Celestine Trace, Trou Macaque in a drain with bullet wounds to his head and body.
Police have no motive for the killing.
Investigators are working on the theory that Nathan's murder may be linked to the shooting of Leon Simmons and Kenny Dixon at Block 22, Laventille around 8 pm Eednesday night.
Investigators say both shootings are linked to a group of men in a white B-14 motorcar.
