Three murders in 48 hours

Three men were murdered within the last 48 hours in Barbados. The first was Slyan Trotman, 55, of Sanford, St Philip, who was pronuced dead at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital yesterday evening after what police believe was a dispute. A man is now in custody on suspicion of causing Trotman's death.

Last night  James Jackman who was in is early 40s died after being  stabbed  following an altercation with his common law wife, at his home in Bedford Lane, Roebuck Street, Bridgetown.

The police are also investigating the death of Malcolm Husbands, 41, of Welchman Hall, St Thomas who was stabbed to death this morning, following a dispute with a man at a shop he operated next to his house.
