Kingston.

Three people were injured yesterday evening in an alleged fight between homosexuals and members of the during Jamica Bacchanal Road March from West King's House Road to Constant Spring Road in St Andrew.

Scores of people attending the road march had to scamper after they took objection to a group of men dancing with each other in a sexually suggestive manner.

Several rocks were thrown, a woman  who was a bystander had to be rushed to hospital after she was hit in the face with a stone.

The melee continued for about half an hour as the alleged gay men retaliated forcing people in the Springs Shopping Plaza to scamper.

Witnesses told the press, the incident took on an uglier tone after some of the alleged gay men pulled bottles with a substance they claimed was acid.

At that stage police officers who were part of the march called for reinforcement, soon after, explosions resembling the sound of gunshots were heard and the gay men ran onto Eastwood Park Road.

The road march  resumed culminating at the New Mas Camp near the National Stadium.
