Georgetown: Three suspects who allegedly murdered a gold miner in the North West District last Friday will soon be charged with murder contrary to common law.
The Department of Public Prosecution (DPP) has advised that two Venezuelan nationals, Gilberto Da Silva, 22, and Angel Figeura, 20 be charged. The third suspect has been identified as Nadeem Baksh, a twenty-two-year-old of Airy Hall Essequibo Coast.
The men allegedly murdered Kevin Alma as he was trying to defend his wife. The suspects reportedly beat Alma until he was motionless, then proceeded to slit his throat.
