Two top executives of telecommunications company Cable & Wireless trading as LIME are leaving the firm at month-end.
There are Barbadian Alex McDonald the managing director of the company's Barbados operations and Trinidadian Gerald Borely, LIME' chief executive officer for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean.
When contacted and asked if reports of his departure were true, McDonald said: “I have no comment to make at this time.”
LIME comfirmed the departure of McDonald and Borely In a terse statement issued late last night.
“Gerard Borely, CEO and Alex McDonald have stepped down from their respective roles in LIME, however they will continue to work for LIME through a transition period.
“We will issue a further announcement regarding the leadership of the Barbados business unit in due course', the statement said.
