Berbice : The police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at Lesbeholden Public Road, Black Bush Polder, Corentyne, and resulted in the death of pedestrian Razeem Khan, 41 years, of Lesbeholden.
According to police reports, a motor tractor was proceeding along the roadway and was in the process of negotiating a turn, when it is alleged that the steering wheel of the motor tractor malfunctioned and the driver lost control of the vehicle which struck the pedestrian.
The driver of the motor tractor is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
