Recently re-elected President of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions (FITUG) of Guyana Carvil Duncan will be approaching the Guyana government on issues pertaining to improving the public transportation system.
He disclosed that daily thousands are forced to wait for prolonged periods for buses return home after working hours. As a result some public transportation operators are taking advantage of the situation by overcharging passenger or overcrowding vehicles.
