Transformer caught fire in central G/town

Georgetown : Pandemonium broke out just minutes after 3pm today when an electrical transformer caught fire at the corner of Church and Camp Streets. It was around the same time when school bells rang for the last time of the day sending children running off for home.

The traffic congestion coupled with the students on the road caused a delay of the fire service reaching to the scene. After a blasé of fire on the transformer for about 10 minutes, firemen were able to have the situation under control.
