Trinidad’s PM “thanked God for his mercies’ for no fatalities in Caribbean Airlines plane crash.

Georgetown : Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago Kamla Persad-Bissessar on a shot visit to Guyana visited the Caribbean Airlines plane crash site and describe it as a miracle that no one died, and thanked God for his mercies.    

 Bissessar also stated that it is not wise to pre-empt or try to prejudice the investigations that are to take place, thus she will not declare what went wrong, but rather would leave it to the technical experts to make the determination. 
 In applauding Guyana for its speedy response to the incident and the professional manner in which the initial phases of the investigations have commenced, she noted that there is anxiety as to what has transpired so to avoid a recurrence.                                                                           
Caribbean Airlines flight BW 523 crash landed at the CJIA about 1:30hrs on Saturday which saw four passengers admitted to the hospital whilst 35 were treated and sent away.
