Bartica : At 12:15 am today Ramchand Pooran, 40 years of Lusignan, ECD, was attacked and robbed of cash, jewellery, a watch and two cell phones by two men, one of whom was armed with a knife, at First Avenue, Bartica.
The police responded promptly to the report received and acting on information received arrested two suspects. The stolen jewellery, watch, and cell phones were found in the possession of one of the suspects.
The two men are in custody and charges are expected to be made shortly.
