Keno Griffith, 25 of Pounder gap Westbury Road and Rohan Fitzgerald Roberts, 42 of Martinque Road, Government Hill both in the parish of St Michael were arrested for assaulting tow police officers over the weekend.
They were also charged with having offensive weapons and two counts of resisting arrest at Bridgetown Market on Spring Garden. Two police officers, a sergeant and a constable received minor knife wounds while arresting Griffith and Roberts.
Public Relations Officer of the Royal Barbados Police Force, Inspector David Welch told Trackker News lawmen will perform their duties effectively and professionally, with a zero tolerance for anyone carrying weapons.
