Port-of-Spain: Two more murders have been recorded in the Belmont and Besson Street areas in northern Trinidad.
Dead are Frederick Nesbitt and Aziekee Nesbitt, both of whom are not related.
Police reports are that shortly after midnight residents at Mary Lands in Belmont reponded to the sounds of gunshots and found the bullet riddled body of Aziekee behind the steering wheel of his car a short distance from his home.
Police suspect the killing is gang-related.
Officers of the Port-of-Spain Task Force, the Belmont CID and the Criminal Gang and Intelligence Unit visited the scene.
In the second murder around 10.37 last evening, police say Frederick Nesbitt was sitting along Eastern Quarry when a car drove up and the occupants opened fire, killing Frederick on the spot.
A 57-year-old man who was also shot remains hospitalised.
Police say they have no motive for the second murder.
