Julian Hunte35, has been promoted to the position deputy general and director of industrial relations of the Barbados Workers Union (BWU), replacing Robert (Bobby) Morris who took up the appointment of Barbados' Ambassador to CARICOM recently.
Dwaine Paul has taken over Hunte old most of deputy director of industrial relations, Hunte and Parris appiontments indicates that the BWU are appointing young staff to senior positions within the body.
For several year most of the senior staff at the BWU were of a similar age and are due retire this year. The appointments are effective from February 1.
