Mr. Benn urged GECOM to utilize the ATVs to better serve the needs of the Guyanese people as preparations are being made continuously by GECOM for imminent elections in 2015.

GECOM’s Chief Election Officer, Mr. Keith Lowenfield, upon receiving the keys to the three ATVs, thanked the UNDP for this timely gesture of support and promised to utilize these vehicles for the purpose for which they were intended. He further emphasized that with the help of these ATVs, GECOM will be greatly assisted with its ability to move a little more freely within its interior locations.
