Georgetown: Stuffed into a blue barrel with just her right foot protruding, the body of an unidentified woman was on Saturday morning found in a trench at Belvedere, East Berbice Corentyne.
Reports indicate that residents noticed the barrel in the trench for the past two days but did not focus on it much, however, a stench began to emanate from the barrel and upon inspection they notice a human foot bulging.
Law enforcement was then contacted and when the barrel was pried open the woman’s body was discovered. The woman’s battered and scared body was found with a bed sheet wrapped around the neck.
