The St Lucia Tourist Board, has announced that from Saturday July 13, United Airlines will be launching a weekly, non-stop service from Newark to the island.
“This new partnership with United Airlines will help make St Lucia even more accessible for travelers from many of the island’s major gateways in the northeast, mid-west and west coast as well as provide added convenience for connections with a number of new markets,” Louis Lewis, Director of Tourism for the St Lucia Tourist Board, told the media.
The flights will leave Newark on Saturday mornings at 8:55 AM, arriving at St Lucia’s Hewanorra International Airport at 1:48 PM. Return flights will depart St Lucia at 2:38 PM, scheduled to arrive in Newark at 7:33 PM. The service will provide connections to 22 US cities.
“As one of the Caribbean’s most desirable destinations, St Lucia is a welcome addition to United’s network in the region,” sas Millie Uriarte, director for Latin America Onshore and Caribbean Sales at United.
