UWI to conduct a study into decline in fish population

Fisherfolk in Barbados have asked the University of the West Indies Centre for Resource Mangement and Environment Studies (CERMES), to conduct  study to determine why the fish population off the island's coast has been on the decline.

President of the Barbados National Union of Fisherfolk Organisation (BARNUFO), Vernell Nicholl, told Trakker News a few theories are floating around as to why the fish in Barbadian waters has become smaller but the fisherfolk one to know the real reason.
