Vandals uprooted a billboard at Church Village, Christ Church with images of Barbados Labour Party (BLP) candidates, Hudson Griffith, Lynette Eastmond, Indar Weir, Hudson Griffith and Leader of the Opposition Owen Arthur.
Businessman Muhammad Nassar who errected the billboard is bewildered as to why anyone would go t such extreme lenghts to destroy political signposts.
"Seventeen young men worked for a week placing billboards and were glad for the work. I don't understand why someone would do this as no billboard or poster will make someone vote", Nassar said.
Nassar told the media that he was a member of the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) and had placed billboards for free for that party during the 2008 general election.
He said as a businessman he was being paid to place billboards for the DLP with no hassle or cussing from the BLP, but now that I am getting a lot of attacks.
"I am a member of the DLP but I am also a businessman. The BLP asked me to put up billboards, they asked me for a price; they accepted that price and I did it. If the DLP wants billboards put
