Georgetown : Elías Jaua Milano, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela will visit Guyana on Friday May 3, 2013.
The Minister will pay a courtesy call on President Donald Ramotar and will hold bilateral talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs Carolyn Rodrigues-Birkett. Included on their agenda will be discussions on the agreement for the sale of rice.
During the Minister’s visit, the Hugo Chávez Centre for Rehabilitation and Reintegration at Onverwagt, West Coast Berbice will be opened. The project was funded by the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the tune of $US 2M.
