The final voters' list for Thursday's general elections has been competed and will be published today. It will also be available to the public on the Electoral and Boundaries Commission (EBC) website today.
Chairman of the EBC Owen Estwick, told Trakker News the commission's officers had been working feverishly dealing with matters ranging from oblections, new data and the political broadcasts of the two major parties.
Estwick said the register's cut off point was last night and while he could not give comprehensive data in relation to the number of voters in comparision with the last general elections in 20008, there had been a few objections to the list and a few matters were still being investigated.
"We had some objections in recent days and meeting was held to deal with them. If we get an objection, it is our duty to inform the person against whom the objection is made, give him or her three days to respond" Estwick said.
