Georgetown : Kurt Simeron called “Junior”, 19 years, of Eccles, East Bank Demerara, appeared before Magistrate Ms. Ann Mc Lennon today on two counts of Robbery Under Arms. He was remanded to prison until May 29, 2014.
The charges followed investigations into an armed robbery committed on two persons at a wake at Shell Road, Kitty, on April 14, 2014, by two men armed with firearms.
On May 20, 2014, Kurt Simeron was pointed out to the police by one of the victims at Hogg Street, Albouystown. He was subsequently also identified by the other victim.
