Warner returns home tonight

Port-of-Spain: Suspended FIFA Vice-President, Works and Transport Minister Jack Warner returns home tonight days after he was suspended from all football related activity by FIFA's Ethics Committee.

Warner is due home just around 10.30 pm, when it's expected that he will respond to critics who have been calling on him to step down pending a FIFA investigation into allegations of bribery levelled against him.

Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has indicated that Warner will stay on as her Works and Transport Minister despite the allegations made against him. This, however, is not sitting well with some within the Prime Minister's cabinet,  who have been adding their calls for Warner to go.

In Maloney last night, Opposition Leader Dr Keith Rowley said he believes Warner had brought the country's image into international disrepute and should be dismissed.

Will Little-Jack-Horner-Sitting-In-The-Corner say his “wrongdoing” is not as bad as the MBTT parasitic oligarchy acting as if they by themselves are the T&T Ministry of Foreign Affairs, embarking on an anti-Cuba campaign, leaving the 283 year old University of Havana off the list of Traditional Universities, and blocking Cuban doctors and Cuban-trained Trinbagonian doctors from practicing medicine in T&T. Is the MBTT now dictating T&T foreign policy, and enforcing the illegal USA embargo against Cuba (a truly free, sovereign, and independent state with which T&T has had ties thru the Cold War), towards making T&T a USA puppet state?
