Warner to release contents of email to Sepp Blatter Sunday

Piarco: Suspended FIFA Vice-President Jack Warner has promised to release an email he sent to the organisation's president, Sepp Blatter after the controversial meeting of Caribbean Soccer Chiefs at the centre of the sport's bribery allegations.

Warner organised a meeting of the Caribbean Football Union with then FIFA presidential candidate Mohammed Bin Hammam which became the subject of the cash-for-votes scandal which has rocked soccer's governing body.

Both Warner and Qatari Bin Hammam have been suspended from all football activities pending a full inquiry from FIFA's Ethics Committee in Zurich.

Warner returned home last night and was greeted by hundreds of supporters including some of his Cabinet colleagues. He said  he would read out the email at a motorcade and rally organised in his constituency on Sunday.
