A man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital yesterday evening after an eplosion left him with burns about his face and body.
The man, whose name was given only as"Abu" was reported welding a can at the workshop on the Transport Board compound when the blasted occurred.
A co- worker told Trakker News she heard a loud explosion and thought it was something on the electrical pole, until she saw the man lying on the ground.
She added an ambulance came soon after and took him to the hospital.
