Barbados and West Indies fast bowler Tino Best is due to appear in the District A Magistrates' Court on Monday.
Best was served with a summon yesterday to answer three charges arising from an incident in st Lawrence Gap,
Christ Church last weekend.
The controversial fast bowler is accused of using insulting language to a police officer,parking in a restricted area and failing to comply
with the directions of the said police officer.
Three weeks ago, Best was given a one match suspension,and omitted from the Barbados cricket team after a confrontation with the
national team's strenght and conditioning trainer Shannon Lashley during a practice session at Kensington Oval.
He apologized for his actions and was reinstated in the team for the next match against Jamaica, but was dropped for the subsequent
match against Guyana.
Best was sereved the summonses yesterday evening at Kensington Oval while practising with the Barbados team, the 29 year old fast bowler is a reserve player in the West Indies World Cup squad.
