West Indies captain Darren Sammy believes his team have an excellent chance of the winning the World Twenty 20 in Sri Lanka next month.
"We have a few of the most experienced guys in T20 cricket in our squad, once we go there and play to our full potential, we stand a very could chance of winning the tournament", Sammy told the media at the start of the West Indies camp at the High Performance Centre in Barbados over the weekend.
Several past players, commentators and journalist have named the regional team among the pre-tournament favourites by Sammy says that label means nothing unless it can be back strong performances.
The squad will undergo rigorous during their week long camp and are expected to play two practices matches against teams from the High Performance Centre and the Combined Campuses and Colleges.
