Woman caught attempting to post cocaine through GPOC

Georgetown: A middle aged woman was today nabbed by police after attempting to post a quantity of cocaine using the General Post Office Corporation (GPOC).  She is currently in custody assisting police officers with their investigation.

Reports suggest that the woman was about to post a box to China when she was arrested by ranks of the Customs Anti Narcotics Units. It was revealed that the woman was doing her transaction at the GPOC at around 10:00 hrs when the CANU ranks randomly decided to search her package.

A thorough search on the box and its contents revealed that a white powdered substance was neatly packed in tiny pieces of cardboard.  The woman was immediately taken into police custody and test on the white powdered substance proved that it was cocaine. The substance carries a total weight of 510 grams. Investigations are ongoing and charges are likely to be laid shortly.
