Marvia Patterson has been charged by the Trelawny Police for the murder of 4 year old Natasha Brown the same parish last week.
Brown's headless body was found in a sinkhole in Duanvale last Wednesday morning. Lawmen says that Patterson was seen in the company of a child at Shirley Hill earlier.
Several residents in the area says they saw Patterson carrying a crocus bag which she claimed contain a pig. and when asked about the contents Patterson reportedly told the residents that she was carrying a pig.
However, under intense interrogation by the police, she directed them to Natasha’s body.
Patterson, 42, who has been in custody since last Wednesday, is to be brought before the Falmouth Resident Magistrate’s Court later this week.
