Georgetown: A man on Monday was arrested after allegedly killing Sattie Beekharry Singh of 158 Begonia Drive, Atlantic Gardens, East Coast Demerara.
The 61 year old woman’s body was found motionless in the house.
Reports indicate that the woman had contacted police for help and on arrival the law enforcement officers were unable to enter the premise but later forced their way into the bottom flat of the house.
The suspect was found inside the house and was arrested.
