Georgetown: A jealous Mabaruma North West District woman stabbed her husband to death after he was seen chatting with “Spanish Women” in front of his business spot called “The Golden Hole”.
Dead is 49 year old Colin Campbell. The businessman was stabbed once to the heart with a knife and died instantly.
Reports indicate that the couple’s eight-year-old son also witnessed the stabbing that occurred about 17:30hrs at their home in Mabaruma on Friday.
It is alleged that the couple had an argument after Campbell was seen talking with the women and his wife became irate and attacked him with a knife stabbing him through a plastic chair that he used to defend himself.
The woman was then escorted to the police station but not before being told of the offense she committed while the murder weapon was recovered by the police.
His wife was identified as 44 year old Shondel Marcelino.
