East Coast Demerara : Investigations are being conducted into a fatal accident that occurred about 4:30 a.m. today on the Goedverwagting Railway Embankment Road, East Coast Demerara (ECD), and which resulted in the death of Laurel Forde, 38 years, of Prince William Street, Plaisance, ECD.
Investigations have revealed that Laurel Forde was driving a motor vehicle allegedly at a fast rate when she lost control of the vehicle and collided with a concrete fence. She received injuries and was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
