Wooden gun used for robbery in St. Croix

St. Croix: 20-year-old, Ernesto Guadalupe, was arrested by police and charged with First Degree Robbery after he was positively identified as the person who pointed a wooden handgun at a victim and robbed him of a cellular phone on Friday according to a BVInews.com report.

Guadalupe approached an 18-year-old male and pointed what appeared to be a wooden hand gun at him and said, “give me something”. The victim told him he had nothing to give so Guadalupe then took the victim’s cell phone and walked away. The criminal Investigation Bureau detectives arrested Guadalupe about 15 minutes later. 

The report said that the suspect was held on a $75,000 bail and remanded to the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility pending further court action.
