Bridgetown: Police in Barbados continue to make inroads in the fight against illegal drugs and other crimes on the island.
Two men, whose combined ages do not add up to the 41 charges they are accused of committing are expected to appear at the Oistin Magistrates Court today, they are Rashad Moore 21, of Vauxhall Christ Church and Omar Best 18, also of the same address.
Moore is facing ten charges of burglary, Best is charged with 41acts of burglary. According the police's public relations officer, Inspector David Welch, the offences were allegedly committed across 17 communities in the southern parishes of Christ Church and St Philip.
Gold and silver jewellery were the main items stolen along with some household items.
